Softball: Palm Beach Gardens improves to 4-0

Jaden Walker was 2-for-2 with a home run, a walk and four RBIs, leading the undefeated Palm Beach Gardens softball team to a 15-0 rout of Royal Palm Beach on Thursday in Palm Beach Gardens.

Brooke Barnard added a hit, four RBIs and a run scored and Danielle Deaton pitched three hitless innings with four strikeouts for Gardens (4-0).

Wellington 10, Dwyer 1: Raegan Conley was 2-for-2 with a double, Danni Farley pitched struck out eight in five innings and went 2-for-3 with a home run and Bailey Cain was 2-for-4 with two runs scored as the Wolverines (5-0) routed the Panthers in Wellington.

King’s Academy 12, Forest Hill 6: Hannah Federico pitched a complete game with five strikeouts and was 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs and Ella Wilkerson went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs as the Lions (4-0) doubled up on the Falcons in West Palm Beach.

Park Vista 9, Boca Raton 4: Christianne Ekonomou was 2-for-4 with four RBIs, Olivia Zehl homered and drove in three runs and Jules Schumacher had a hit and two RBIs as the Cobras (4-1) defeated the Bobcats in Boynton Beach.

Santaluces 19, Lake Worth 0: Aaliyah Cecilio tripled and struck out six in two innings, Melanie Guzman added a single and a double and Alycia Celia had three hits and two steals as the Chiefs (2-3) rolled over the Trojans. Luce Cowens had two hits for Lake Worth.

Benjamin 14, Fort Lauderdale-Calvary Christian 3: Claire Cord was 3-for-3 with a triple, Samantha Sweeney and Alex Cohen each were 3-for-3, and Leslie Berg went 2-for-2 as the Buccaneers scored seven runs in the fourth inning and routed the Eagles in Palm Beach Gardens.

Olympic Heights 11, Suncoast 0: Alex Perez (1-1) pitched five hitless innings with six strikeouts; Kelly Montilla was 3-for-3 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored and Madison Manning had a triple and two RBIs as the Lions (3-2) shut down the Chargers in Riviera Beach.

Spanish River 5, Atlantic 0: Kiley Brooks (3-1) pitched a shutout with seven strikeouts and no walks and Gigi Aurichio was 2-for-3 with a triple as the Sharks (3-1) shut down the Eagles in Boca Raton.


Jupiter 13, Dwyer 8: Juliana Aiello had three goals and two assists, sister Becky Aiello added three goals and an assist, and Jackie Smith contributed four goals and an assist as the Warriors (1-0) defeated the Panthers in Palm Beach Gardens.

St. Andrew’s 16, Boca Raton 7: Amelia Moran had four goals and two assists, Taylor Mullen added four goals and Emma Braden contributed three goals and two assists as the Scots handled the Bobcats in Boca Raton.

Vero Beach 16, Benjamin 11: Ashley Turner had three goals, Hanna Hilcoff added three draw controls, three goals, and an assist and goalie Alyssa Vitale had 10 saves, but the Buccaneers (0-1) fell to the Indians in Palm Beach Gardens.


Palm Beach Gardens 14, Atlantic 6: Julio Novariani scored five goals and Bruce Haase had 14 saves as the Gators (1-1) overpowered the Eagles in Palm Beach Gardens.
