Softball: King tosses no-hitter for Palm Beach Central


Amaya King pitched a no-hitter, leading the Palm Beach Central softball team to a 10-0 win over Suncoast on Thursday in Riviera Beach.

Lauren Nguyen doubled for the Broncos (1-2).

Park Vista 16, Lake Worth 0 (3): Olivia Zehl was 3-for-4 with two RBIs; Alyssa Dragovich went 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs and Christianne Ekonomou was 2-for-3 with an RBI as the Cobras (2-0) rolled over the Trojans in Lake Worth.

Olympic Heights 11, Forest Hill 0: Kaitlyn Cunningham was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored and struck out seven on the mound as the Tigers (3-0) handled the Falcons in Boca Raton. Rylie Manning tripled for the Falcons.

Palm Beach Gardens 15, John I. Leonard 0: Dani Farley struck out seven as the Gators (1-0) dominated the Lancers in Palm Beach Gardens.

Oxbridge Academy 13, Trinity Christian 0: Lucky Gilman was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and Caridad Estes struck out 10 as the Thunderwolves shut down the Warriors in West Palm Beach.

GIRLS LACROSSE

King’s Academy 16, John I. Leonard 2: Mackenzie Marsh had four goals and an assist; Genesis Gutierrez added three goals and two assists and Caroline Aubry contributed three goals and an assist as the Lions (4-0) rolled over the Lancers in Greenacres.

Oxbridge Academy 21, Somerset Canyons 3: Callie Zoeller scored six goals and Lucy Ream and Skylar Simmonds each added three goals as the Thunderwolves routed the Cougars in West Palm Beach.
