Softball: DiNatali’s grand slam leads Park Vista


Kaylee DiNatali hit a grand slam, leading the Park Vista softball team to a 13-2 rout of Santaluces on Thursday night in Boynton Beach.

Gabby McDermott homered, tripled and drove in two runs, Cassidy Trimble went 2-for-2 with a triple and an RBI and Tyrina Jones struck out five in two innings for the Cobras (1-1).

Jupiter 10, Olympic Heights 0 (5): Emily Bodenheimer had a hit and two RBIs and Marissa Mellone gave up one hit and earned the victory as the Warriors (2-0) shut down the Lancers (1-2). Alina Hernandez doubled for Heights.

Spanish River 10, American Heritage 0: Kylie Brooks struck out six and walked one in a complete game, Gigi Auricchio was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, Rylie Brashears went 2-for-4 with a double, and scored a run and Taylor Kargar doubled and drove in two runs as the Sharks (2-0) routed the Stallions in Delray Beach.

King’s Academy 12, John I. Leonard 5: Hannah Federico was 4-for-4 with four RBIs and earned the victory on the mound and Jordan Winters was 3-for-4 with three RBIs as the Lions (2-0) defeated the Lancers in Greenacres.
