Soccer: King’s Academy boys hold on for win

Jake Zimmerman scored two goals, leading the King’s Academy boys soccer team to a 5-4 victory over Hobe Sound-Pine School on Thursday in West Palm Beach.

Dylan Shepherd, Zeldon St. Surin and Adrian Boettger each contributed a goal for the Lions (9-5-1).

Oxbridge Academy 2 , Trinity Christian 1: Immanuel Regales scored a goal, but the Warriors (9-3-4) fell to the ThunderWolves in West Palm Beach.

Lake Worth Christian 8, Coral Springs Christian 0: Nicolas Adolphy had a hat trick and five assists and Alden Stacie added two goals and an assist as the Defenders cruised to the win in Boynton Beach.

Benjamin 3, American Heritage 1: Nicole Vernis scored two goals, Emma Shirzad added another and Alyssa Suarez had seven saves as the third-seeded Buccaneers defeated the second-seeded Stallions in the District 13-2A semifinal late Wednesday in West Palm Beach Benjamin will face top-seeded Oxbridge Academy in Friday’s district final.
