Roundup: Spanish River girls lacrosse rolls to victory


Liz Lynch had five goals and two assists, leading the Spanish River girls lacrosse team to an 18-1 rout of Cooper City on Friday in Boca Raton.

Brooke Lang added three goals and two assists and Lauren Mazzamaro contributed three goals and an assist for the Sharks.

Jupiter 14, Davie-Western 7: Rebecca Aiello had four goals and two assists, Rachel Miller added three goals and an assist and Julianna Aiello contributed two goals and two assists as the Warriors doubled up on the Wildcats late Thursday in Davie.

BOYS LACROSSE

Cardinal Newman 12, Stuart-South Fork 11 (OT): Ryland Tishko scored four goals, including the game-winner, Michael Rescigno also scored four goals and Teddy Ward and Chase Duran contributed two goals each as the Crusaders edged the Bulldogs in West Palm Beach.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Royal Palm Beach d. Jupiter 25-23, 25-18, 25-19: Alex Negron had 11 kills, 16 digs and 11 service points, Sean Mowry added eight kills, two blocks and six service points and Anthony Benedict contributed 19 assists to go with eight digs as the Wildcats (4-2) swept the Warriors late Thursday in Royal Palm Beach.
