Roundup: Park Vista girls lacrosse team rolls

Blair Mason scored five goals, leading the Park Vista girls lacrosse team to a 14-2 rout of Seminole Ridge on Thursday in Loxahatchee.

Bri Cook added four goals and two assists, Mya Carrillo contributed two goals and Rohdena Innocent had 11 saves for the Cobras (3-3).

King’s Academy 16, Oxbridge Academy 2: Mackenzie Marsh scored six goals and Cami Van Wart added five, leading the Lions (4-2) to the rout of the ThunderWolves in West Palm Beach. Mackenzie Wainman and Emma Quattlebaum each scored a goal for Oxbridge.

Martin County 19, Spanish River 11: Lena Finkelstein had five goals and three assists and Brooke Shaw added three goals, but the Sharks fell to the Tigers in Boca Raton.

St. John Paul II 16, Plantation-American Heritage 5: Olivia Polimeni had four goals and four assists, Katie Trainor added four goals and three assists and Danielle Farinas contributed five goals and an assist as the Eagles (4-2) overpowered the Patriots in Boca Raton.


Dwyer 13, Palm Beach Central 6: Summer Hane ran for a touchdown, had a touchdown reception, and an extra-point catch and Kennedy Foster threw a touchdown pass and an extra-point pass as the Panthers (2-0) held off the Broncos in Palm Beach Gardens.

Park Vista 13, West Boca Raton 7: Grace Landers threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Nicole Barilla and Brooke Bogatz threw a 60-yard touchdown pass to Olivia Razzo, but the Bulls fell to the Cobras.

Pahokee 6, Lake Placid 0: Shakira Humphrey scored a touchdown and grabbed three interceptions as the Blue Devils (2-0) shut down the Dragons in Pahokee.

Boca Raton 19, John I. Leonard 6: Skylar Truglia rushed for 118 yards, including the game-winning 58-yard touchdown, and Alexa Addeo threw a touchdown and scored an extra point as the Bobcats (1-0) handled the Lancers in Greenacres.
