Girls soccer: Jupiter improves to 2-0 with shutout

Brielle Pearce, Cassandra Deka and Emily McKensie each scored a goal, leading the Jupiter girls soccer team to a 3-0 shutout of Treasure Coast on Thursday night in Port St. Lucie.

Julia Cain and Sophia Flores combined on the shutout for the Warriors (2-0).

Wellington 1, Weston-Cypress Bay 1: Abby Bryan scored the lone goal as the Wolverines (1-1-0) and Lightning tied in Weston.

Lake Worth Christian 8, Berean Christian 0: Grace Montero and Brooke Santiago each had a goal and an assist and Tori Dolen added two assists as the Defenders (2-0) routed the Bulldogs in Boynton Beach.

Glades Day 7, Atlantic Christian 0: Hana Lohmann had a hat trick and an assist, Landry Pitts added a goal and Jaylin Smith earned her first shutout as the Gators (2-1) handled the Saints in Belle Glade.

Jupiter Christian 1, Somerset Canyons 1: Megan Gioffre scored for the Eagles (1-1-0) in a tie with the Cougars ended in Jupiter.


Winter Park-Geneva d. Donna Klein Academy 25-6, 25-10, 24-26, 25-10: The Eagles (15-3) fell to the Knights in a Class 2A regional final late Wednesday in Winter Park.
