Girls basketball: Lake Worth Christian improves to 17-4

Jillian Schenk scored 26 points, leading the Lake Worth Christian girls basketball team to a 66-37 rout of Boynton Beach on Friday night in Boynton beach.

Riley Mizell added 17 points for the Defenders (17-4).

King’s Academy 57, St. John Paul II 26: Haley Gantt scored 17 points, Madison Lee added 13 and Isabel Albert contributed 12 as the Lions (17-7) overpowered the Eagles in West Palm Beach.

Spanish River 58, Forest Hill 28: Olivia Svendsen scored 22 points as the Sharks (8-16) routed the Falcons (4-20) in West Palm Beach. Maia Lagrotta scored 15 points for Forest Hill.

Grandview Prep 54, St. Andrew’s 27: Alexis Romer had 14 points and five rebounds, Danielle Montelbano added 11 points and four rebounds and Dakota Darwin contributed 10 points and seven rebounds as the Pride (16-6) doubled up on the Scots in Boca Raton.

Atlantic Christian 55, Pahokee 5: Britney Carver had 24 points, seven steals and five rebounds, Chasity Lockhart added 11 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and six steals and Kelly Noel contributed nine points, nine steals and three assists as the Sharks (10-6) cruised past the Blue Devils late Thursday in Pahokee.
