Girls basketball: No. 8 Jupiter stops Dwyer

Aayden Ghee had 11 points and 14 rebounds, leading the eighth-ranked Jupiter girls basketball team to a 43-31 victory over Dwyer on Friday night in Jupiter.

Veronica Edwards and Ellie Eide each added eight points for the Warriors (16-3).

No. 4 Benjamin 53, Fort Lauderdale-Pine Crest 39: Da’mya Preston had 22 points and 11 rebounds and Deborrah Redmon and Anise Williams each added 11 points as the Buccaneers (15-2) defeated the Panthers in Fort Lauderdale.

King’s Academy 69, Spanish River 40: Haley Gantt scored 24 points, Alexis Hobbs added 14, Madison Lee had 12 and Margot McFadden contributed 10 p as the Lions (13-5) handled the Sharks in West Palm Beach.

St. Andrew’s 41, American Heritage 29: Nicole Whitaker scored 14 points and Kayla Deherrera added 11 to lead the Scots past the Stallions in Delray Beach. Taylor Romano scored 26 points for Heritage.

Atlantic Christian 69, Hollywood Christian 17: Britney Carver made fourt 3-pointers and scored 23 points and had five steals, four assists and three rebounds, leading the Sharks (8-4) over the Eagles in Hollywood. Chastity Lockhart added 20 points, seven assists, seven rebounds and seven steals and Kelly Noel contributed 12 points and four steals for Atlantic Christian.

Berean Christian 60, Fort Pierce-John Carroll 51: Jenna Brannon scored 22 points, Zoe Baumeler added 15 and Rachel Perez contributed 10 as the Bulldogs (11-7) stopped the Golden Rams in West Palm Beach.
