Girls basketball: Gardens, Wellington, Jupiter, Santaluces post wins

No. 6 Palm Beach Gardens 54, Dwyer 29: Tatiana St. Louis scored 16 points and had seven rebounds, Kiera Brown added 11 points to go with 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals, and Kyandra Pointer contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds as the Gators (16-4) overpowered the Panthers in Palm Beach Gardens. Courtney Clark scored 13 points in the loss.

No. 7 Wellington 50, Southwest Ranches-Archbishop McCarthy 47: Camryn Debose scored 15 points, grabbed five steals and five rebounds, Mia Jones added 13 points and seven rebounds and sister Sydney Jones contributed 13 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks as the Wolverines (17-5) handled the Mavericks in Wellington.

No. 8 Jupiter 57, Suncoast 50: Aayden Ghee scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Megan McCants added 15 points, and Carley Salter contributed nine points as the Warriors (18-5) got past the Chargers in Jupiter.

No. 9 Santaluces 77, King’s Academy 42: Emiah Downie had 21 points and Brittney Howell added 15 points as the Chiefs (15-7) downed the Lions (15-7) in West Palm Beach. Haley Gantt had 14 points and Margot McFadden added 12 points in the loss.

Grandview Prep 86, Fort Lauderdale-Stranahan 26: Alexis Romer scored 19 points and had 10 assists, Scarlett Anosier added 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and Danielle Montelbano contributed 12 points to go with 10 assists and seven steals as the Pride (14-6) pounced on the Dragons in Boca Raton.

Park Vista 55, Royal Palm Beach 9: Brooke Bogatz scored 16 points, had eight assists and six steals, Cayla Polsky added 15 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Emily Mauser contributed 12 points and five rebounds as the Cobras (11-9) defeated the Wildcats in Boynton Beach.

John I. Leonard 67, Atlantic 36: Aja Gregg scored 17 points, had 17 rebounds and five blocks, Zaida Gonzalez added 22 points, including four three-pointers, to go with 11 rebounds and seven steals, and Tecaria Glover contributed seven points, five rebounds, seven steals and seven assists as the Lancers (10-15) handled the Eagles in Greenacres.
