Girls Basketball: Boca Raton, Jupiter, Wellington, Oxbridge post wins


Boca Raton 74, Park Vista 26: Kelsi Mingo scored 17 points and added seven steals, Audrey Ramsey had 16 points and five assists, Grace Alfieri contributed 13 points and Hannah Pratt had 10 rebounds to go with her 10 points as the Bobcats overpowered the Cobras in Boca Raton.

Jupiter 42, John I. Leonard 24: Megan McCants had 11 points as the Warriors (1-0) defeated the Lancers (3-2) in Jupiter.

Wellington 58, Palm Beach Central 26: Mia Jones had 20 points, grabbed six rebounds and had three assists, Camryn Debose added 20 points and four rebounds, and Sydney Jones contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Wolverines (2-2) handled the Broncos in Wellington.

Oxbridge Academy 86, Glades Central 6: Kaylon Smith scored a game-high 18 points and also had eight assists and six rebounds, Aaliyah Stanley added 12 points to go with 10 assists and six steals and Alexa Zaph contributed 14 points and six assists as the ThunderWolves (2-1) punished the Raiders in Belle Glade.

King’s Academy 49, Cardinal Newman 47: Haley Gantt had 21 points and Brianna McDaniel added 13 as the Lions (2-0) edged the Crusaders in West Palm Beach.

Suncoast 69, Forest Hill 17: Jamia Moore had a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds), Kasside Williams added 13 points, with five assists and three steals, and Noelle Bedard contributed 12 points as the Chargers (1-2) overpowered the Falcons in Riviera Beach.
