Boys volleyball: Dwyer tops Royal Palm in five games


Spencer Hoagland had 34 assists, helping the Dwyer boys volleyball team rally to earn a marathon 19-25, 25-20, 25-20, 19-25, 15-11 victory over Royal Palm Beach on Wednesday night in Royal Palm Beach.

Noah Mertens added 21 kills, and Nick Arnett contributed 10 kills for the Panthers (6-8).

Palm Beach Gardens d. Seminole Ridge 25-14, 25-15, 25-19: Henry Castellon had 24 assists and Tervinson Lubin added 13 kills as the Gators (15-2) swept the Hawks in Palm Beach Gardens.

Park Vista d. Forest Hill 25-20, 25-12, 25-18: Mason Medina had 19 service points and Kyle Franklin added 17 blocks as the Cobras (14-8) swept the Falcons in West Palm Beach.
