Boys soccer: Spanish River ties Suncoast


Emily Spitzberg scored a goal as the Spanish River boys soccer team tied Suncoast 1-1 on Tuesday in Boca Raton.

The Sharks are 6-2-2 on the season.

Inlet Grove 3, Lake Worth Christian 2: Nick Adolphy scored two goals, James Berry had six saves and A.J. Rodriguez had three saves, but the Defenders fell to the Hurricanes in Riviera Beach.

Glades Day 4, Jupiter Christian 2: Rett Lohmann and Alex Acosta scored two goals apiece as the Gators (3-3-1) defeated the Eagles in Belle Glade.

St. Andrew’s 5, Fort Lauderdale-Calvary Christian 0: Alejandro Gomez had two goals and an assist, Christian Urreiztieta added a goal and an assist, and Nick Yi earned his first shutout as the Scots (3-4-1) stopped the Eagles in Boca Raton.

Plantation-American Heritage 4, American Heritage 2: Alex Guichard scored both goals, but the Stallions (4-3) fell in Plantation.
