Boys basketball: No. 4 Forest Hill holds off No. 9 Santaluces

Tristian Stephens had 18 points and 12 rebounds, leading the Forest Hill boys basketball team to a 53-50 victory over Santaluces in a showdown of ranked teams in West Palm Beach.

D’ante Daniels added six points, seven rebounds, and seven assists for the fourth-ranked Falcons (22-3) against the ninth-ranked Chiefs.

No. 2 Wellington 70, Berean Christian 31: Bryan Williams scored 20 points, Jacob Pincus added six points and six steals and Elijah Balcarcel contributed seven assists as the Wolverines (25-0) completed a perfect regular season by routing the Bulldogs in Wellington.

No. 8 Palm Beach Lakes 61, Palm Beach Gardens 56: Ty Hands made four 3-pointers and scored 20 points, Giancarlo Rosado added 18 points and Sheldon Edwards contributed 13 as the Rams (13-6) held off the Gators in West Palm Beach.

Cardinal Newman 57, John I. Leonard 48: Emmanuel Onuama had 22 points and 12 rebounds, Peter Igwilo added 12 points and 13 rebounds and Liam Kazman contributed eight rebounds and seven assists as the Crusaders (11-10) defeated the Lancers in West Palm Beach.

Somerset Canyons 64, Olympic Heights 48: Anderson Estime scored 19 points and Michael Quan added 14 as the Cougars (12-12) handled the Lions in Boynton Beach.

Spanish River 87, West Boca Raton 78: Zach Desir had a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds and Phillip Tromans added 16 points and six assists, but the Bulls fell to the Sharks in Boca Raton.

Boca Raton 58, St. Andrew’s 45: Cade Long scored 24 points as the Bobcats (16-10) defeated the Scots in Boca Raton.

Vero Beach-Master’s Academy 66, Glades Day 58: George Acosta scored 21 points and Jacob Camacho and A.J. McPhee each added 13 points, but the Gators (5-13) fell to the Patriots in Belle Glade.
