The Dolphins open their season at home against the Titans at 1 p.m. today. Here are the players who won’t be suiting up for the Dolphins:

• QB David Fales

• QB Luke Falk

• RB Kalen Ballage

• WR DeVante Parker (broken finger)

• OT Zach Sterup

• CB Cornell Armstrong

• TE Gavin Escobar

The Dolphins elected to go with Brock Osweiler as the backup quarterback to Ryan Tannehill today. They are hoping it does not matter. Newcomer Brandon Bolden will suit up for Miami on special teams. The Dolphins will go with four running backs, five receivers and three tight ends on offense. Miami will suit up nine defensive lineman, five linebackers and eight defensive backs.
