The Miami Dolphins will move their training facility to Miami Gardens as early as 2020, Hal Habib reports from the scene on Tuesday.
Dolphins chief executive officer Tom Garfinkel said the training facility will be on the northwest side of Hard Rock Stadium.
He added the facility will cost about $75 to $80 million. The Dolphins now train at Nova Southeastern University in Davie.
But despite improvements, the lack of space available to expand has been an issue for some time.
The Dolphins’ training camp practices have been open to the public for years. Garfinkel said the addition of the training facility, along with an under-construction tennis complex will still allow for suitable parking.
