WATCH: Tom Herman throws ceremonial first pitch at Texas baseball game


Texas football coach Tom Herman could be found on the baseball diamond on Thursday evening.

Herman, entering his second season with the team, threw the ceremonial first pitch ahead of Texas baseball’s home contest vs. Stanford — the first matchup of a four-game series with the Cardinal.

Herman reportedly hit 48 mph with the pitch — which was just a wee bit outside.

Not bad, nonetheless.

Texas is 8-4 on the season entering the series and is currently riding a three-game win streak. The Longhorns are 7-2 on the season while playing at home.
