In-state wide receiver Antoine Green latest to decommit from Florida State

Florida State has seen its share of commits reopen their recruitment after Jimbo Fisher left to take the job at Texas A&M. On Sunday night, the Seminoles received news of yet another one.

Antoine Green, a wide receiver from Rockledge (Fla.) Senior High School east of Orlando, tweeted that he would decommit from the Seminoles. Green had been committed to the program since July 4.

I wanna say thanks to coach Fisher , coach Trickett and Coach Dawsey , but I’ve decided to decommit from Florida State University and reopen my recruitment .

A three-star recruit according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Green currently has 26 FBS offers, with Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina, and Wake Forest representing his other ACC offers. Florida, Georgia, Mizzou, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee have also extended offers.

Green is one of six recruits to decommit as a result of the coaching situation at Florida State. The Seminoles are now down to 12 pledged players in the class of 2018.
