Minutes after his teammate Antoine Green announced his decommitment from Florida State, 4-star Rockledge (Fla.) running back Jashaun Corbin followed suit, announcing that he too was reopening his recruitment.
Thank you to the entire Florida State staff for everything you guys have done for me! But at this time I would like to re open my recruitment..

Corbin is considered the country’s No. 6 all-purpose back by 247Sports’ composite rankings. As a junior, he rushed for 1022 yards and 5 touchdowns, while making 25 catches for 619 yards and 7 touchdowns. He currently holds 34 offers, with his most recent one coming from Nebraska on Saturday evening. Clemson is scheduled to welcome him on an official visit on December 13.
Corbin’s decommitment continues a rash of defections from the Florida State program by various recruits.
A total of 7 players from the class of 2018 have reopened their recruitment since November 29, around the time rumors of Jimbo Fisher’s departure for Texas A&M began to intensify. Three of those decisions have come on or after December 1, the day it was reported that Fisher would indeed be leaving Tallahassee to coach the Aggies.
