Jameis Winston left Florida State as one of the most decorated football players in school history. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback won a national championship with the Seminoles in the 2013 season, part of a campaign that saw him become the program’s first Heisman Trophy winner since 2000.

On Friday, Winston took to Instagram to congratulate Jimbo Fisher on a successful career at Florida State, as well as to wish him luck at Texas A&M.

Coach You help lead us to the greatest times of our lives. Your passion, your grit, your lessons made us all better. I will suit up for you at anytime! I love you man. #GOAT #Champion #CanMeandMikeusetheindoor

The obvious level of respect that Winston still has for Fisher should be great for Seminoles fans to see, despite what their feelings for the head coach may be after he left for Texas A&M. It’s a nice sendoff from a player that thrived under Fisher’s system and helped lead the Seminoles to their first national championship since the 1999 season.
