Arkansas gets commitment from Texas offensive lineman

Arkansas added its second commitment of the 2019 class Thursday night with offensive lineman Beaux Limmer announcing his pledge. He made the announcement the Recruiting Thursday radio show hosted by Richard Davenport.

Limmer (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) is a 3-star recruit according to the 247Sports’ composite. He visited Fayetteville last weekend, and told SEC Country earlier this week he had “very high interest” in the Razorbacks. Limmer attends Lee High School in Tyler, Texas.

He also has offers from Baylor, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt and several others. He has received 11 of his 12 FBS offers over the past six weeks.

Limmer is one of many East Texas recruits the Hogs are targeting. It’s an area of the Lone Star State where Arkansas’ coaching staff has deep connections. Running backs coach Jeff Traylor has been Limmer’s primary recruiter. Traylor won three state titles as head coach at Gilmer, just about 40 miles north of Tyler.
