2:54 p.m.: As the vans carrying the press pool crossed the Southern Bridge with the presidential motorcade, some Trump supporters yelled “fake news,” according to a press pool report. The vans carrying the press are marked with signs on the windshield.
Pool reporters from major national and international news organizations follow the president wherever he goes. The pool has not been allowed to see the president golfing but instead is quarantined at the library across the street from Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
2:10 p.m.: After five hours at his golf club, President Trump returned to Mar-a-Lago. No word yet on what he will do the rest of the day.
1:53 p.m.: The president got a welcome reserved for a teenage idol when he stopped by a recent luncheon at Mar-a-Lago.
9:17 a.m.: President Trump’s sticks with his daily routine and heads to the golf course again. Today is the 24th day the president has played golf in Palm Beach County since his inauguration in January 2017.
