Wellness Wednesday, on Sept. 12, is led at CityPlace by CrossFit Squad owner and head coach, Derek Bishop. Each class, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., begins with a warm-up focusing on an increased heart rate and targeting muscles that will be used in the workout. Movements in the class include squats, lunges, burpees and pushups. Careful instruction and as-needed modification make this intense class attainable for each individual. For more information on the free class, visit www.cityplace.com/wellnesswednesdaycrossfitsquad.

CityPlace welcomes back local nonprofit, Urban Youth Impact, an artisans shop that creates opportunities for youths to help transform their community through social enterprise.
