Weekend events in and around Boynton Beach


Three things to do this weekend in and around Boynton Beach:  

1- Movies in the Park

The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency is hosting this free event on Friday. “Glory Road,” will be shown on a big screen at the Ocean Avenue Amphitheatre, 129 E. Ocean Ave., at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket. Food, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Free parking is available. 2- Loop for Literacy

The Boynton Beach-based Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County will host this fundraiser Saturday. The event is at John Prince Park, 2700 6th Ave. S. in Lake Worth. Attendees can walk, run or bike to show their support for literacy programs for adults and children. 3- Family Game Night

The Boynton Beach Mall is hosting this free event Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is in the food court of the mall, 801 N. Congress Ave. The mall provides the games. For information, call (561) 736-7902.
