Police looking for man who abducted 10-year-old girl in Miami-Dade

Law enforcement officials across South Florida are searching for a man who they say abducted a 10-year-old girl from a bus stop.

Miami-Dade Police said that at about 7 a.m. Monday the man drove a newer model blue Kia Soul up to a bus stop where the girl was waiting.

WPLG stated that the girl got into his car because he offered her a ride to school.

Instead of school, he took her to a gas station where he made an inappropriate sexual request toward her, police reported.

She has since been recovered and is fine, according to the police department.

Officials describe the man as being 20 to 30 years old. He has long dreadlocks, which he wore in a stocking cap, and may have a gold front tooth, according to a news release.

He was wearing green pajama pants and a white T-shirt.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Miami-Dade police at 305-715-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
