NEW: Man, 68, missing from Royal Palm Beach


A 68-year-old man has not been seen since Wednesday morning in Royal Palm Beach, according to The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Leroy Smith was headed to the 7-Eleven store at Belvedere Road and State Road 7 around 9 a.m. and has not been seen or heard from since. Smith was last seen wearing an orange shirt, black-striped shorts and flip flops.

The sheriff’s office said Smith has mental health issues and is considered to be a missing and endangered adult.

Anyone with information about Smith’s whereabouts are asked to call sheriff’s office dispatch at 561-688-3400 or the nearest law enforcement agency.
