Thirteen years after they were married at Mar-a-Lago, Vanessa Trump and Donald Trump Jr. are apparently ending their marriage.
The New York Times reported Thursday that Vanessa Trump filed for an uncontested divorce in a Manhattan court.
Donald Trump Jr. was introduced to his wife by his father, now President Donald Trump, in 2003 at a fashion show. They married at Donald Trump’s private club, Mar-a-Lago, in 2005 and have five children. The family often visits Mar-a-Lago and Palm Beach County.
“After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways,” the couple said in a joint statement, according to The New York Times. “We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”
Well it wasn’t pretty but I set a new personal Deadlift record today hitting 375 lbs. I know I know the form went to hell so I’ll save you the need for commenting. Back too rounded legs up to fast etc etc... At the extreme ends it gets tougher to stay perfect. That said still pretty psyched. #crossfit #deadlift #pr #weightlifting #fitness #ugly
Trump Jr. usually keeps a low profile when he travels to Palm Beach, but in December, he was seen working out at a local CrossFit gym. He was in town for a speaking engagement with conservative students in West Palm Beach.
A longtime CrossFit athlete, Trump Jr. dropped in for a workout at CrossFit El Cid on Claremore Drive.
In February, Vanessa Trump was hospitalized after opening an envelope that contained a white powder.
The powder, which brought back fears of the 2001 anthrax attacks, turned out to be harmless.
Trump Jr. later sent a tweet saying his wife was not harmed.
My family and I are incredibly relieved to hear this news. No one should ever have to deal with this kind of sickening behavior. Truly amazing work from the @SecretService and other agencies involved. Thank you all for your dedication to law and order. https://t.co/OROvrSzCp3— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) March 1, 2018
