Woodward’s book on Trump White House selling well at Palm Beach shops

Bob Woodward’s new book, Fear: Trump in the White House, wasn’t released until Tuesday, but it already was a best-seller at the Classic Book Shop in Palm Beach last week.

Jeff Jacobus, owner of the Classic Book Shop, said that there has been a lot of interest in the book about part-time resident and President Donald Trump. It was the No. 1 seller as of last Friday.

“We’ve had about 12 reservations since last week. We’ve had a lot of walk-ins, too. That’s very good for this time of year,” Jacobus said Tuesday.

Palm Beach Book Store owner Candace Cohen also has seen interest in Woodward’s book. “We have had a lot of pre-sales,” she said Tuesday.

CNN reported today that Barnes & Noble said Fear has had the “fastest sales for an adult title since Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman was released in July 2015.”
