THINGS TO DO: Food trucks, free concerts in Wellington and Royal Palm


As winter break winds down -- Palm Beach County schools are back in session starting Monday -- parents may be looking for one last way to get the kids out of the house and have some fun.

While a slew of free, family-friendly events are taking place this weekend in Palm Beach County, two in Wellington and Royal Palm Beach offer the popular Food Truck Invasion alongside free concerts from tribute bands.

Where: Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd.

When: Food trucks on site from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday; concert begins at 6:30 p.m.
