Update, 8:55 a.m. Thursday: Drivers should expect delays near the traffic circle connecting the Southern Boulevard Bridge with South Ocean Boulevard, town officials said. Barricades in the road around the hole will slow traffic, according to an alert sent by the town before 6 a.m. today.
Update, 8:20 p.m.: Barricades are up near the hole in the road near President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago and Bath and Tennis Club. The town said there are no longer delays.
A “small sinkhole” is delaying traffic near Mar-a-Lago and the Bath and Tennis Club on South Ocean Boulevard, town officials said in an alert.
Police officers are directing traffic and public works employees are “on the way” to repair it.
In May 2017, a sinkhole opened nearby, just west of Mar-a-Lago’s southern entrance.
