Rollover crash on Turnpike in Jupiter leaves 5 hurt


A rollover crash snarled southbound traffic for about an hour this morning on Florida’s Turnpike near Jupiter, authories said.

A car flipped over about 11 a.m. while traveling south on the Turnpike north of Indiantown Road. The crash shut down all southbound lanes for about an hour, according to a Florida Highway Patrol dispatcher.

Two adults and three children were transported to an area hospital, according to Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue. Their names and conditions were unavailable this afternoon.

The scene was cleared and all lanes reopened by 12:10 p.m., FHP said.
