NEW: Truck crashes, comes to stop inside Florida convenience store

A person driving a pickup crashed through a window and came to a stop inside a convenience store in Fort Pierce on Thursday morning, the St. Lucie County Fire District reports.

The incident happened at about 10 a.m. at a Mobil gas station on the 2900 block of South 25th Street, south of Virginia Avenue. The crash caused significant damage. However, there were no injuries reported, according to fire district officials. 

There are no charges pending. However, the driver will be required to take a driving test in order to keep his license, St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Bryan Beaty said.
