NEW: South Florida woman dies after falling from swing at trade show

A woman from Miami Beach died Tuesday after falling off a swing that was on display at a trade show in Chicago.

Jacqueline Albertine, 57, was attending NeoCon, a show that brings professionals in the commercial design industry together, when she fell, the Miami Herald reported

Albertine died of blunt force head trauma, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office told NBC 5 Chicago. Her death was ruled accidental.

Albertine worked for Corporate Design Choice Inc., a company that designs commercial furniture, according to her Facebook profile.

A Facebook post by her sister stated that she “fell and sustained a head injury that in spite of the surgeon’s lengthy efforts, she did not recover from.”

Her sister wrote that she was “truly one of the sweetest people you could ever meet.”
