NEW: Crash sends car into salon’s front window near downtown West Palm

No one was hurt Monday when a car smashed through the front window of a beauty salon on Olive Avenue south of downtown West Palm Beach, police said.

A white 2015 Chrysler 200 and a silver 2018 Subaru Impreza crashed at the corner of South Olive Avenue and Evernia Street about 5:20 p.m., sending the Chrysler into a tree and then into the front of O! Salon Hair & Color, West Palm Beach police Sgt. David Lefont said.

“Both drivers claimed to have the right of way (one claimed to have a yellow light, the other claimed to have a green light),” Lefont said. “One passenger suffered minor facial injuries, which were treated at a local hospital. Since there were no independent witnesses, no one was cited.”
