A Miami man was killed Monday night in suburban Boynton Beach after he was run over by a tractor-trailer while riding his bicycle, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses told investigators that Pedro Moreno, 51, attempted to beat the tractor-trailer across the intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Lyons Road, but was struck and run over by the truck’s wheels, PBSO said.
