Need free help with income taxes? It’s available in Royal Palm Beach

A popular program that offers free tax services has returned to Royal Palm Beach.

Volunteers with the VITA Program, provided by the United Way of Palm Beach County, will be at the Harvin Center, 1030 Royal Palm Beach Blvd., through April 17.

To qualify, your household’s gross income cannot be more than $66,000 for 2017. 

If you go, bring your 2016 tax return, Social Security card, photo ID, birth dates for all family members, all W-2s and 1099s for 2017, and a voided check or savings account number for direct deposit. Click here for the complete list of documents.

The service will be offered from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. Help is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
