Famous Spanish shipwrecks is planned to be the topic for a discussion on on Saturday, Nov. 11th at 10 a.m at Loxahatchee River Battlefield/Riverbend Park west of Jupiter.
The event, sponsored by The Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationists, is free and open to the public.
Margaret Weller and her husband Bob "Frogfoot" Weller plan to talk about their adventures diving on some of the most famous Spanish shipwrecks in the world.
Ms. Weller will be displaying some artifacts including a 77 pound silver bar from from Mel Fisher's 1622 find in the Keys.
The Wellers worked with Fisher on his greatest discoveries.
Bob and Margaret found the "Queen's Dowry" from the 1715 wreck near Vero Beach.
Battlefield tours are planned after Margaret's lecture and display.
