The Juno Beach Pier, closed to fishermen and visitors since Sunday from damage from waves that reached 15 feet, is expected to reopen Wednesday.
Several wooden panels were knocked from the pier and the wood railings were damaged, causing Loggerhead Marinelife Center officials to close the pier.
Most of the wood panels, which float, have been recovered. Officials are still seeking the missing panels.
The pier is open one-half hour before sunrise and closed at sunset.
The cost to fishermen is $4. Spectators pay $1.
If the pier does reopen Wednesday, only the half closest to the beach will be accessible to visitors and fishermen.
The outer half of the pier is still under repair.
Visitors should call the pier Wednesday to check on the reopening.
