DELRAY BEACH — If you’re looking to say your warm goodbyes to 2017, and ring in the new year in Delray Beach or Boca Raton, we have your guide.
And you don’t have to break the bank to do it.
Here are a few events in Delray Beach and Boca Raton on New Year’s Eve for $25 or under:
NEW YEAR'S EVE DOWNTOWN: Delray’s Old School Square has an annual free, family-friendly event with games, food trucks and live music. The event starts at 5 p.m and ends with an oceanfront fireworks display at 9 p.m. Visitors can ride the carousel, play mini-golf or ice skate for $3. For more information, visit Delray Beach website.
SALT7 NEW YEAR’S: This restaurant/lounge is throwing an "It Was All A Dream" party from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. There is no cover charge. For dinner and bottle service reservations, email Kembrell@SALT7.com.
DEATH OR GLORY: Punk-folk band Everymen will headline the New Year’s Eve bash at Death or Glory, a new hot spot bar in downtown Delray Beach. The party starts at 9 p.m. and lasts until 2 a.m. Ben Childs and the Wails and DJ Mike Locke will also perform. There is no cover charge, and drink specials will be offered all night. BUDDHA WONDERLAND NEW YEAR’S EVE: For a $25 cover charge, Buddha Sky Bar is offering a three-story dance party, a complimentary champagne at midnight, and a classy white decor to ring in the new year. FUNKY NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY!: Ring the new year in a funky way at Funky Buddha Lounge and Brewery. You’ll get five bands, craft beer, music, a beer toast at midnight and a complimentary, late-night breakfast before closing.
