The Arc of Palm Beach County has had a holiday suite at The Gardens Mall for the past several years. Clients and volunteers will wrap gifts in the festive suite around the corner from the food court. Donations support The Arc's adult education programs. Last year, The Arc raised $6,000. (Sarah Peters/The Palm Beach Post)

Holiday shoppers who don’t feel like spending hours stuck in a room with scissors, tape and wrapping paper can find other people to wrap presents for them at The Gardens Mall.

Although many department stores have eliminated gift-wrapping services, mall shoppers will find a festive holiday suite with free gift wrapping around the corner from the food court. Donations support the adult programs of The Arc of Palm Beach County. The non-profit organization provides services, education and advocacy for people of all ages with developmental disabilities.

While The Arc’s volunteers and clients wrap gifts, shoppers may browse a selection of stocking stuffers and works of art from the Art d’Arc gallery. The suite is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Christmas Eve.

The line will be out the door as Christmas gets closer. If you don’t have time to wait, some stores will offer to put gifts in a box with a bow, even if they don’t do gift wrapping.

Here’s what to expect from each of the department stores at The Gardens Mall:

Macy’s - no gift wrapping

Saks Fifth Avenue - box with a bow

Nordstrom - silver box with silver bow

Bloomingdale’s - gift wrapping and cards for sale on the third floor

Sears - no gift wrapping
