Thanks to Hurricane Irma, most of Comcast's thousands and thousands of southern Palm Beach County accounts have been without Wi-Fi and cable television since Sunday afternoon as the company works on a damaged fiber line on one of its "primary hubs," spokeswoman Mindy Kramer said Monday morning. She said it's believed to be the largest outage in the county.
Kramer said engineers are working on repairs. Blame falls to damaged fiber line at a “primary hub”.
That problem at the hub had been repaired and that all services were back or would be soon. Some neighborhoods have issues that also were caused by the storm but were unrelated to the hub failure, and that if those customers don't get services restored by Tuesday morning, they should contact Comcast directly
