BREAKING: Workers injured by electric shocks at Lantana construction site


Two people working at a construction site were taken to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after they suffered electrical shocks when a crane touched a live power line, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue reports. 

The incident happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. at a work site near Lantana and Andrew Redding roads east of Interstate 95. 

One worker was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Fire Rescue. 

No other details were immediately available.
