Black History Month event, food trucks in Wellington, Royal Palm


Tribute Music and Food Truck Festival: The popular Wellington festival returns to the amphitheater complex, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd., this Thursday through Saturday and Feb. 22-24 from 5 to 9:30 p.m. each night. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. Attendance is free, and there will be 10 to 15 food trucks each night of the festival where attendees can buy food and drinks. Lakeside Family Fun Day: The first of Wellington’s new Lakeside Family Fun Days is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Lake Wellington and the Wellington Community Center, 12150 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington. There will be free yoga and meditation classes, along with a children’s coloring contest led by Wellington Art Society members. For more information, go to www.wellingtonfl.gov.

Celebrate Black History Month: Learn about the Negro Spiritual with the “Songs of Triumph” presentation at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Royal Palm Beach branch library, 500 Civic Center Way.
