Allamanda Elementary Health and Wellness program awarded $5,000 grant


ALLAMANDA ELEMENTARY

Deborah Feinsinger, Health and Wellness Program coordinator, recently was presented a $5,000 grant to support the program from The CouTOURe Club through the Honda Classic Cares organization. The CouTOURe Club is an organization of women committed to developing the golf tournament’s mission of increasing charitable contributions for children of the community.

The school is hosting its inaugural golf tournament Oct. 6 at Sandhill Crane Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens. Drive For The Hive and Putt For The Dough will feature a scramble format with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. There will be a silent auction, raffles, prizes and a luncheon. Entry fees are $125 for a single player, $400 for a foursome. Sponsorships are available.
