A Florida couple were arrested on New Year’s Eve after police said they stole over $6,000 in luggage and items at Miami International Airport.

After investigating complaints from travelers, Miami-Dade police reviewed surveillance video which showed Wilbert Cabrera-Valdes, 25, and Ana Maria Columbie, 34, stealing bags from the conveyor belt, according to WPLG.

Police then went to the couple’s home in Haileah, where they found five pieces of luggage, which along with the items inside, were valued at close to $6,5000, NBC 6 stated.

Cabrera-Valdes and Columbie were taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami where they are both facing multiple charges of grand theft. Cabrera-Valdes is also being charged with probation violations.
