Vermilio started causing a disturbance and reportedly threw the pizza at one of the workers. The victim told police the hot contents of the pie hit her on both arms, WKMG reports.

The worker was able to get Vermilio’s license plate number before she left the store with her son, and deputies soon arrived to her home.

When deputies questioned Vermilo, she said that the pizza was made incorrectly and that she confronted the manager, who was “argumentative and rude,” so she slid the pizza across the counter and left, according to WKMG.

Surveillance video at the pizzeria showed Vermilo forcefully throwing the pizza box at the victim, and deputies arrested and charged her with battery.
