UPDATE: Missing Port St. Lucie man found in Palm Beach County, is safe


10:40 a.m. UPDATE: John Cecil Turner, 74, was found Friday “alive and in good health” in Palm Beach County, Port St. Lucie police said.

Original post: Port St. Lucie police are searching for a 74-year-old man with dementia who has not been seen since Thursday morning.

John Cecil Turner was last seen possibly leaving the Traditions Medical Center at 10000 SW Innovation Way, just west of Interstate 95 and south of Tradition Parkway, in his 2006 Black Toyota 4 Runner with the Florida tag Y42-RDP at 10:30 a.m. Police said Turner suffers from dementia.

When Turner was last seen, he was wearing a tan cargo pants, a blue polo shirt, a black baseball hat and brown shoes. He’s described as weighing 170 pounds, is about 6-feet-tall, has brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone who comes in contact with Turner or may know where he is are asked to call 911 or the Port St. Lucie Police Department at 772-871-5001.
