UPDATE: Lockdown lifted at Keiser University, authorities say

UPDATE, 11 a.m.: The lockdown at Keiser University’s campus has been lifted, according to university officials.

ORIGINAL STORY: Keiser University’s West Palm Beach campus is on lockdown due to nearby law enforcement activity, university authorities said.

Campus officials advised students, faculty and staff at about 9:20 Tuesday morning to stay in secure locations if they were on the North Military Trail campus just north of Okeechobee Boulevard. If they were not at the campus, they were told to stay away.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office authorities confirmed they were assisting the FBI in a search near that area. The details of that investigation were not immediately available.
