UPDATE: ‘Business bandit’ strikes again, this time robbing Broward bank

A well-dressed man linked to bank robberies across Palm Beach County is wanted in connection to a bank robbery that occurred last week in Broward County, authorities said.

The man, known as the “business bandit” for his professional attire, robbed a bank in Cooper City on Friday, according to an FBI wanted poster shared on the West Palm Beach Police Department’s Twitter page.

The FBI posted did not disclose the name or address of the bank branch.

Authorities say the same man is responsible for at least nine other bank robberies in South Florida since 2015, including several in Palm Beach County. Federal authorities say he robbed banks in the Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton areas.

The man should be considered armed and dangerous, the FBI said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000.
