LATEST: Man accused of running house of prostitution near West Palm

West Palm Beach man was arrested Thursday, accused of running a house of prostitution, according to a sheriff’s report.

Gerald Lee Coleman, 37, is facing a charge of keeping a house of ill fame and was released from the Palm Beach County Jail on Friday after posting a $250 bond. The business is called Angels of Palm Beach, at North Congress and Westgate avenues in suburban West Palm Beach, about a mile north of Palm Beach International Airport.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies performed a sting operation Thursday, the report said. An undercover officer was offered sex for money by a woman inside the residence.

When Coleman was asked his role in the business, he replied that he is the manager. He immediately asked for an attorney, the report said.

Several other women in the business told investigators that Coleman ran the operation, the report said.
